| We spent a good portion of the day in Reno. I am trying to get rid of my headache and I am not up to much, Petr has some errands to run. Late afternoon, we drove to Carson City and slept in an RV park that belongs to a casino. We just realized that most casinos around here have RV parks tucked away behind the main building, a good strategy to attract gamblers at their tables. It did not work with us though! Most of these parks are cheaper than campgrounds, with newer bathroom/shower and laundry facilities and all the amenities, including Wi-Fi and cable TV. So, although they are not very romantic settings nor they are aesthetically pleasing, after all we just sleep here, we need an Internet connection and a shower, so why not. |
